About TGBC
Our name says what we are for. Three Tibetan words, one simple idea: a garden where goodness grows.

Our Philosophy
Every one of us wants happiness and wishes to avoid suffering — yet we rarely create the causes for it. In the Dharma, merit is that cause. Through weekly prayers, pujas and offerings, TGBC helps everyone — Buddhist or not — accumulate merit and dedicate it to their loved ones and all beings.
Our Vision
To be a place where anyone can come to understand the true nature of their suffering — and the way out of it. A sanctuary for spiritual growth where everyone is welcome to explore the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, and leave with more peace, wisdom and compassion than they came with.

Our Founder
His Eminence the 5th Bise Rinpoche was recognised by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in 1986 as the reincarnation of the 4th Bise Rinpoche, and received both his novice and full ordination vows directly from His Holiness.
After 21 years of study at Sera Jey Monastery he earned the Geshe degree (2007), completed Gyudmey Tantric College (2008), and served as Abbot of Jamyang Chokhorling Monastery, Tawang (2011–2014). Rinpoche now guides students across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
