One lamp. One name. Lit before the Medicine Buddha every day for a whole year, for the health and long life of someone you love.
药师佛长寿年灯 · 一个名字 · 全年点亮
In Tibetan Buddhism a lamp offered before the Medicine Buddha is the simplest and oldest prayer for health: light against the darkness of illness. At TGBC the long life lamps burn on the altar at 3C Campbell Lane every day of the year, each one carrying a name.
Who people light this lamp for
- Elderly parents and grandparents. The most common reason: a year of health for mum or dad.
- Someone recovering, or facing an operation or treatment.
- A child or a newborn, for a healthy start.
- Yourself, at the start of a new year or a new chapter.
What your offering does

Only the name you give. For more people, add one lamp per name.
Included in every weekly prayer and every Medicine Buddha puja during the year.
We message you before the year ends so you can renew for another year.
How to give
