What is a phurpa?
A phurpa is a three-sided ritual dagger. Blessed in the puja, it is kept at home as protection against harm and interference.
Who is Hayagriva?
Hayagriva is the wrathful form of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, and the heart practice of H.E. Bise Rinpoche. His power is used to pacify nagas, spirits and illness.
Do I need to attend?
No, but you are welcome to come and join the chanting. If you cannot, the prayer is still performed and the merit dedicated to the names you give.
