Lamp Offerings 灯供品

In Tibetan Buddhist tradition, offering a butter lamp is one of the most powerful acts of merit-making. The flame symbolises wisdom dispelling the darkness of ignorance, and the light is offered to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.

Lamp offerings are made to:

• Accumulate merit and remove obstacles
• Pray for the health and longevity of loved ones
• Dedicate merit to the deceased for a good rebirth
• Illuminate the path to liberation for all beings

Lamps are offered on your behalf by the monks of Tashi Gephelling Buddhist Centre, accompanied by sincere prayers and dedications for those you wish to remember.
