🌸 Je Tsongkhapa Day — Vajrayogini Self-Initiation & Lama Chöpa Tsog
宗喀巴大师圆寂日 · 金刚瑜伽母自灌顶与上师瑜伽荟供
December 14 marks the Parinirvana Day of Je Tsongkhapa, the great master and founder of the Gelug tradition.
This is one of the most powerful Gelug holy days, where all virtue and offerings multiply immensely.
It is traditionally observed with:
- purification
- tsog offerings
- guru devotion practices
- and higher tantric activities performed by qualified masters
This year, H.E. 5th Bise Rinpoche will be performing:
1. Vajrayogini Self-Initiation
A profound tantric ritual available only to fully initiated practitioners,
where the lama restores vows, purifies all broken commitments,
and renews the blessings of the Vajrayogini lineage.
Sponsors are included in the dedication field and the merit generated is vast and transformative.
2. Lama Chöpa Tsog (Guru Puja with Tsog Offering)
In the afternoon, Rinpoche will perform the Lama Chöpa Tsog, offering tsog to the lineage masters, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and protectors.
This powerful practice purifies obstacles, restores harmony, and strengthens one’s connection to the Guru and the path of The Je Tsongkhapa Day Ceremonies traditionally generate:
✅ Purification of obstacles, negativities, and karmic debts
✅ Accumulation of vast merit through tsog offering
✅ Renewal of tantric blessings and samaya restoration
✅ Strengthening of guru devotion & Dharma connection
✅ Blessings for clarity, wisdom, and long life
✅ Protection and auspicious conditions for practitioners and families
Puja Sponsorship — S$100
Your sponsorship directly supports the offerings for both ceremonies, including:
✨ Torma, Lamps, incense, flowers, biscuits, fruits & tsog items
✨ Deducations for you and your loved ones
✨ Inclusion of your names in the Vajrayogini Self-Initiation dedication field
