Dana is the Pali word for generosity — the practice of giving freely and without attachment. In Buddhist tradition, dana is the first and foundational paramita (perfection), the basis upon which all other practices of the path are built.
By offering dana to Tashi Gephelling Buddhist Centre, you directly support:
- The daily operations of the temple and shrine hall
- Dharma programmes, teachings, and retreats
- The welfare of resident monks and visiting teachers
- Maintenance of sacred objects, statues, and ritual items
The merit generated through dana is immense. When given with a pure heart and right intention, generosity plants seeds of future abundance, happiness, and the conditions to encounter the Dharma in future lives.
All donations are deeply appreciated and dedicated to the benefit of all sentient beings.
