Sponsor a sacred Buddha Altar (佛坛) and help establish or maintain a proper Dharma space for practice, puja, and offerings at Tashi Gephelling Buddhist Centre in Singapore.
A Buddha altar is the heart of any Dharma home or centre. It is the sacred space where offerings are made, prayers are recited, and the merit of practice is accumulated. Sponsoring an altar at TGBC supports the ongoing puja activities, teachings, and community gatherings that benefit all beings.
What Your Sponsorship Supports:
- Maintenance and upkeep of the sacred altar at TGBC's shrine hall
- - Supply of offering bowls, butter lamps, incense, and ritual objects
- - Dedicated merit dedication in your name or the names of your loved ones
- - Ongoing daily prayers performed by Rinpoche and the sangha
About the Altar:
Traditional Tibetan Buddhist altars are arranged according to precise guidelines laid down by the Buddha himself. The altar typically includes representations of the Buddha's Body (a statue or thangka), Speech (scriptures), and Mind (a stupa), along with the seven traditional water bowl offerings symbolising salutation, water for washing the feet, flowers, incense, light, perfume, and food.
Each sponsorship tier supports a different scale of offering — from basic altar maintenance to a full altar set with all ritual implements.
About TGBC:
Tashi Gephelling Buddhist Centre is a non-profit Tibetan Buddhist organisation registered in Singapore. All offerings are used with complete transparency and dedicated to the benefit of sponsors and all sentient beings.
