What is on a Tibetan altar?

Representations of the Buddha's body (a statue), speech (scriptures) and mind (a stupa), with the seven water bowl offerings: water for drinking, water for washing, flowers, incense, light, perfume and food.

Can I dedicate the merit to someone?
