During the seventh lunar month — the time of Ullambana (盂兰盆) — we especially remember and dedicate prayers and merit to beings who are suffering: departed loved ones, unseen beings, hungry ghosts, and beings in the lower realms. This year, you are warmly invited to a Medicine Buddha Jangwa Prayer, led by H.E. the 5th Bise Rinpoche.

The Medicine Buddha Jangwa is a sacred healing and purification practice for both the living and the deceased. Through it we pray for the sick and the living to receive healing, peace and protection, and for departed loved ones — and all beings in the lower realms — to have their suffering eased and to be guided toward a favourable rebirth and liberation.
